Swimming in the South Lagoon today. Lian was able to dive to the bottom for the first time in about 9 feet of water. Observed 7 thornback ray's, two small eagle ray's and a large turtle crossed Lian's course about 10 feet away from her.
Lian started scuba diving lessons last Saturday, took her 3 1/2 hours to complete the first 10 lessons. Obviously, swimming in the lagoon for 18 months was a big help. Will go to LauLau next week for open water training. More later.
